Citiva Medical was founded in 2015 by a small group of New York healthcare professionals. CITIVA set a simple yet ambitious goal: to standardize and scientifically prove the therapeutic and clinical effects of cannabinoid medicine.

The CITIVA team had witnessed the miraculous effects that cannabis extracts had on epileptic children and on many other patients with varying conditions.

Thanks to their established team in New York, which includes a dedicated staff of physicians, horticulture experts, medical cannabis advocates, pharmacists, and chemists, CITIVA has a unique capacity to carry out its mission. CITIVA is focused on advancing the study of cannabis and its efficacy in the field of medicine.

CITIVA’s commitment to a well-designed drug development program to investigate cannabinoids will lead to a new field of clinical medicine for conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy & chronic pain, as well as for various mental health disorders. CITIVA is exceptionally positioned to carry out its aims due to its unique assets and partnerships.

CITIVA’s research and development hub in Kingston, Jamaica is one of the few locations in the world to carry out medical cannabis clinical trials.
